Huang Tingjian, the Northern Song Dynasty famous writer, calligrapher, is the pioneer ancestors of Jiangxi Poetry. He is also famous for Ci. His Ci are nearly 190, which can be divided into two categories depending on the theme:one is about love; the other is about the feelings of personal ambition. Compared with the literature, the language research on Huang Ci is quite limited, research on pronunciation, grammar are rare, lexical study is also scarcity, the system of which is still not comprehensive enough so far.The lexical researches of Huang Ci has important implications for Chinese language history. There are three characteristics of his Ci:First, stack words are rich. Second, there are a lot of allusions with various kinds and flexible usage. Third, it contains a lot of spoken language. By inspecting Huang Ci, on one hand, it can enrich the research results of neoteric Chinese lexicon; On the other hand, it may also correct some errors of the lexicography. Therefore, the article will start from these three characteristics, which includes:The first part mainly introduces the general research situation on vocabulary of Huang Ci; Huang Ci linguistic features and the significance of the article; elaborate research methods.The second part focuses on reduplication, allusions and spoken words of Huang Ci. Among them, reduplication, allusions will try to have exhaustive statistical and quantitative analysis with specific data.The third part mainly analysis and describe the reduplication, allusions and spoken words, and explain their evolution.This article mainly explains the words meanings with the methods of traditional exegesis. Therefore it will rich the research on the vocabulary of modern Chinese.
