New words is a mirror of the modern social life, it reflects the development of the society and the focus of people, and also reflects the Chinese cultural psychology. New words is the important component of the modern Chinese vocabulary, including new words in teaching Chinese as a foreign language has been widely accepted for everyone, and achieved some results. Teaching material as a bridge between teachers and students, it is also the main basis which the student studies. Comprehensive course in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is paid attention to by many teachers and students, as a result, the new words into the comprehensive course teaching material in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is undoubtedly the best way. In the study of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, however, research on absorbing new words in the textbooks is still relatively lagging behind.Therefore, this article will select eight middle and advanced stage of comprehensive course in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,statistics the number of new words and its proportion in the total words, and then analyse the problems existing in the new words in teaching Chinese as a foreign language from three aspects,they were synopsis、curriculum provisions and teachers.Through such efforts I expect to present some feasible improvement schemes. As follows:First of all, this article elaborates the definition and features of new words and the relationship between new words and teaching Chinese as a foreign language, then summarizes the research of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and comprehensive course teaching materials; Secondly, this paper discusses the significance and value of Chinese as a foreign language comprehensive course materials,and from students know degree questionnaire survey and the realistic significance of the new words two angles to expound this problem; Thirdly, statistics the number of new words from the selected eight comprehensive course and accounts for the proportion of the total vocabulary,then summed up the principles and methods of absorb new words into the comprehensive course teaching Chinese as a foreign language;Finally, contraposes the less absorption of the number of new words in the textbooks, this article from synopsis、 curriculum provisions and teachers three aspects to discuss the problems existing in the comprehensive course new words teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and put forward the scheme of strengthening in the teaching of new words.Through the introduction of this paper,hopes to help those foreign students in China to learn Chinese new words.
