In the 1970s, the Chinese music has gone through two special periods, the Great Culture Revolution and Reform and Open. The music, totally collapsed once, and later revived slowly. This special music culture progress had quite a lot to do with the unusual era. During this time, however, the western music had its own time-marks, though. At the same time, some Chinese musicians tried playing some Chinese tutti music works with those new instruments. Among these musicians, Wu zuqiang successfully composed "Er Quan Ying Yue", and Tan Dun, another musician, composed "wind, Elegance Hymn" which won great reputations both at domestic and abroad simultaneously, made a unique contribution to the world music.By summarizing the creative feature and analysis performance appreciation including performance style of the traditional music "Er Quan Ying Yue" by Wu zuqiang and Ding shande, this thesis is trying to present the differences and blends between European classical and traditional Chinese music.
