Style And Playing Techniques Of The "Lark", Haydn’s String Quartet

"D major string quartet", Because of the main chapter’s melody which sounded like the brighten murmuring of the skylark, such piece of work was engraved a name called " string quartet ‘larks’. " By researching the "lark", Haydn’s string quartet, not only, enforced the theoretical dependence on string quartet, but also promoted the employment of researching achievement of one particular work. And the theoretical researches on such piece of work could be applied in practical processes also. the theoretical defects were patched not only, the guide of application has been build also. These 2 breakthroughs hold a significant influence on academic study.This article was formed by three parts, the first part was mainly about the introduction of growing-up life on Haydn and the analysis on the development of string quad. And by analyzing the background of this particular piece of works and the author’s characteristics, we gradually figured out the features how Haydn originally compose a piece of work.
