In modern Chinese, there is a kind of “Zhi+X” which have been included in theContemporary Chinese Dictionary(the lastest version),but they are not fullylexicalized. In this article, we try to discuss the synchronic lexicalization of the mostfrequently used “zhi you”,“zhi shi”,“zhi yao”,“zhi guan”as research objects. Basedon a synchronic corpus, we discuss the current state of these words through theperspectives of syntax and semantics.There are six chapters in this article. The introduction part relates thebackground of the research, the orientation of the content, the previous researchsummary,the research theory’s basis and method.Chapter II studies synchronic lexicalization of “zhi you”. According to thesemantic classification and syntax circumstances in which the strucure appears, wedivided “zhi you” into words and phrases,then conclude the synchronic lexicalizationof “zhi you”and find out its each state’s frequency of use in our corpus.Chapter III studies synchronic lexicalization of “zhi shi”. According to thesemantic classification and syntax circumstances in which the strucure appears, wedivided “zhi shi” into words and phrases,then conclude the synchronic lexicalizationof “zhi shi”and find out its each state’s frequency of use in our corpus.Chapter IV studies synchronic lexicalization of “zhi yao”. According to thesemantic classification and syntax circumstances in which the strucure appears, wedivided “zhi yao” into words and phrases,then conclude the synchroniclexicalization of “zhi yao”and find out its each state’s frequency of use in ourcorpus.Chapter V studies synchronic lexicalization of “zhi guan”. According to thesemantic classification and syntax circumstances in which the strucure appears, wedivided “zhi guan” into words and phrases,then conclude the synchroniclexicalization of “zhi guan”and find out its each state’s frequency of use in ourcorpus.Chapter VI is the conclusion. We summarize the research process andconclusions of this article,and meanwhile point out the inadequacies which needfurther study.
