Since 1940 s,the study about the adjective have began and have achieved a lot.The study referd to every aspects nearly, Among them, some of the researchers talked the adjectives that have both AABB and ABAB variants, but it was inadequate, so it is necessary to study this type of adjectives. The composite adjectives are divided into two categories, the first one is used to descripe the characteristics of people or things specificly. The second category is used to instruct the subjective experience and the overall state of people or things. The first type of the composite adjectives is divided into two variants, we call them the variant X1 and the variant Y1. Both the variants are deeper on semantic than the basic type AB, and they also have more complex function on pragmatic. And compared the variable XI with the variable Y1, there was no significant difference on the semantic, but has prepared to change into the verb on pragmatic functions. The first type of the composite type is also divided into two variants, we call them the variant X2 and the variant Y2. They are higher than the basic type AB on quantification and enhance image meaning. Compared the variable X2 with the basic type AB, the variable X2 has the function of social instructions and play a supplementary role. And the variant Y2 follows the the principle of politeness and cooperation, refer to the information before. According to the different characteristics of the two categories of the composite type adjectives, the variant X1 emphasis on the specific attribution and the variant X2 tend to subjective experience and the scope; About the type Y1 and Y2, they have the significant difference and their own patterns of sentence.
