The Sentence Final Mood Particles Of Zhuangzi

Zhuangzi,a total of 33 chapters,composed of the inner chapter,the outer and the miscellaneous chapters,is one of the most important Zhuzi hand-down literatures in the pre-Qin Dynasty.It is generally believed that the inner chapter was written by Zhuangzi,while the outer and the miscellaneous chapters by the posterity or the schools of Zhuangzi.It plays a quite prominent role in The pre-Qin literature to reflect the language features of the mid-Warring States period.Based on the"believe or doubt"frame put forward systematically by Majianzhong,this paper focuses on the sentence final mood particles of Zhuangzi to Deepen and expand it.There are 10 expressing-believe sentence final mood particles,namely,ye也\yi矣\yi已\eryi而已\er耳\yan焉\zai哉\fu夫\xi兮\yi猗of the individual appearance,and ye zai也哉\ye fu也夫\yi zai矣哉\yi fu矣夫\yi fu已夫\yi hu已乎eryi yi而已矣\eryi zai而已哉\eryi er而已耳\er yi耳矣\zai hu哉乎of the adjacent appearance.There are 3 expressing-doubt sentence final mood particles.namely,hu乎\xie邪\yu与of the individual appearance,and ye xie也邪\yi hu已乎\hu zai乎哉of the adjacent appearance.This paper gives both the analyses and the descriptions of the individual appearance as well as the adjacent appearance of the sentence final mood particles of Zhuangzi as well as the features in word functions and meanings,the sentence categories to further explore its value in article science and linguistics.The sentence final mood particles of Zhuangzi are mainly about one function and meaning,they owned their self-values when they went with the stream of the pre-Qin Dynasty.
