During the 1930s, in the context of Japanese massive invasion of China and re-establishment diplomatic relations between China and the Soviet Union, the Sino-Soviet Cultural Association, which aims to introduce the Russian culture was launched in Nanjing on 25th October 1935, and then moved to Chongqing in the early stage of anti-Japan War. Its official journal’Sino-Soviet Culture’devoted to introduce the Soviet politics, economy, military, society and culture during the whole war. Especially, the introduction of Russian culture focused on the culture translation. Hence, the translated literature on Sino-Soviet Culture is an important part of Chongqing anti-Japan War literary, but also the carrier of Sino-Soviet cultural communication, which reflects the aesthetic needs and social function in that special period. The research on translated literature in Sino-Soviet Cultural Association during anti-Japan war is not only advantageous to grasp the situation of Chinese literature acceptance of Russian literature, but also could have an understanding of effect that Chinese literature poses on Russian.This paper consists of the following three sections. The first part makes accurate statistics on translated literature in Sino-Soviet Culture Association during war, and introduces Russian writers, works, literature thoughts and theories. The second part put the translated works in the context of anti-Japan war, and found that it reflects literariness from the aesthetic standpoint, and the resistance from the class point. What is more, in the globe, the resistance that Sino-Soviet Cultural Association possess is also affected by connecting with Russian thoughts. The third part holds that Sino-Soviet Cultural Association is inextricably linked with Chinese society. They constitute the part of the world anti-fascist literature, and have the significant influence on the victory of anti-Japanese war in China and anti-Fascist War in the world.
