Historiography Under The Political Influence Of The Northern Dynasty

On the development process of China’s ancient time,there is a close long-standing relationship between politics and history, politics is a major factor affecting the development process and direction of history, or even the most important factor. Northern and Southern Dynasties in China’s ancient history is an important period of the past and, under the premise of secession certain degree of economic recovery, the rulers in order to consolidate its rule, the historian as a political tool for the country’s political system,political ideology and politics Environmental historians have had on the development process of a major impact, so historians inevitably have strong political overtones, these effects in terms of activity of historiography, historical concepts are very clear.Northern Dynasty is an important period in the history of ancient China, during the period there is a number of history books. Northern Dynasty’s political environment is more volatile than the Southern Dynasty, but we can not ignore the development of history, minority history flourish in this period.in addition,the National History Compilation and Confidential Memorandum have also made certain achievements.The author study historical and political relations of the Northern Dynasty, mainly because of the complexity and specificity of the relationship between History and Politics. The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between Northern Dynasty’s politics and history, and rich the Northern Dynasty’s history research. Northern and Southern Dynasty is a special time in our ancient history of upheaval and change. Regimes replacement frequently,two political center was built during the war between countries,complex class relations,ethnic relations are experiencing unprecedented national fusion procedure. Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism have interaction and absorption. This period linked Jin Dynasty and Tang Dynasty,and it has its own distinct characteristics.This paper discusses the history under political influence of the Northern Dynasty from three aspects.The first is the official historian system under the Northern political system,explore the Northern Dynasty’s official historian system and the election of historian.The second is a compilation of historical books under Northern politicalenvironment,from the Confidential Memorandum Compilation, minority regime’s history, the history of ethnic hegemony, Buddhism, Taoism in history books and family history books of the period,we will find out the status of Northern Dynasty’s hisroty books.The third is the history ideas under the Northern politics, the concept of divine right of kings,prevailing orthodoxy by strengthening dynasty, describes the concept of ethnic and the Han nationality, inspired by the history’s rise and fall.So we can explore development of the history concept under the political influence of the Northern Dynasty.
