This paper’s framework is divided into five parts:the first part is introduction, it introduces the origin, significance, research methods, and so on; the second part combines the situation of film and television resources using in advanced class of Xi’an Bo Ai International School, analyzing the feasibility of opening the related courses; the third part discusses the advantages and disadvantages of using these resources; the fourth part unites data, theory into practice, specifically discusses how to select film material, through film resources how to teach language elements and verbal skills; the fifth part using food documentary "On the tip of the tongue of China" designs a concrete teaching case.The main research method includes:observation, survey, literature research and case analysis. Significance of this paper is mainly to encourage educators fully using film resources in the whole teaching process, giving full play to its unique superiority, thus becomes a powerful teaching tool, and be bold to explore to this new kind of courses.Through the study, I find this field still has large potential. Scholars recognize the importance of using film material in the teaching process, but the practice of this case is very few, or just using in teaching a specific training skill or in a film appreciation class. This paper discusses the selection principle of film and television resources, how to choose resources according to different kind of class, combining with the actual case analyzes teaching mode of using film and television resources in the aspects of language elements and verbal skills.I sincerely hope this research can do a lot of help in the field of Teaching Chinese as a foreign Language.
