Tongsu Nixu Ci/Inverse-morpheme word pair is also called Tongsu Yixu Ci, Tongsu Fanxu Ci etc, referring to a pair of two-syllable compound words consisting of the same morphemes, but in the opposite order, in the performance of "AB-BA" style. This is a special phenomenon in the Chinese language. As vocabulary is the core of the element teaching of Chinese, and a focal point of the language teaching, at the same time, Inverse morphemes word pair is a difficulty in vocabulary teaching, needing more attention and study.In this thesis, we classify the inverse-morpheme word pairs from four aspects including the meaning, structure, lexical categories and speech, in the scope of the words from "Modern Chinese Dictionary"(sixth edition),and try to know the main mistakes and difficulties that might occur to the foreign students while learning through questionnaires and interviews form based on the 45 Inverse-Morpheme word pairs from "HSK vocabulary and character Outline". Finally, based on the analysis of the survey results, we attempt to give some suggestions about the inverse morphemes word pairs from the perspective of foreign language teaching, including the time to teach, the methods of teaching and auxiliary tools, for providing some practical help to teaching.
