Song Wan, as one of important and influential poets in Qing Dynasty, had an irreplaceable and propounding effect on the development of poems in Qing Dynasty. A lot of researches of Song Wan and his works are made by later generations. And it is commonly acknowledged that his work “Ru shu ji”(Poem Collection on the Way to Sichuan) is his master work which marks his highest artistic achievement. However, the previous praise of this poems collection was too general and the intensive analysis has not been done until now.The creativity of this thesis is the analysis of Poem Collection on the Way to Sichuan.The thesis makes a detailed and thorough analysis of the routes of Song Wan’ sentering Sichuan and the poems he composed during this period, and classifies the poems based on the concrete contents. The paper makes an analysis of Song Wan’s poems written on his way to Sichuan, especially the artistic features of his poems.Song Wan’s life is pretty similar to Lu You. During his later time, Song Wan even learned the poetic style of Lu You.By generally analyzing Song Wan’s poems, the thesis makes a comparison between Song Wan’s poems of Sichuan and Lu You’s ones, so as to understand the differences of poetry composition between these two great poets.
