A Research Into The Relation Among Family Support, Psychological Capital And Occupation Tendency

By the use of "occupation tendency questionnaire", "positive psychological capital questionnaire" and "family social support questionnaire", This paper uses the statistics analysis method of random convenience sampling, four colleges in Chongqing and Sichuan province are extracted and 560 questionnaires are distributed to conduct a systematic study on the occupation tendency of college students.This study shows:(1) The development condition of college students’ psychological capital, family support level is better than the average level. The distribution of college students in six types of career orientation tends to be imbalance.(2) The actual type and investigation type of college students’ occupation tendency differs in gender, art type varies from different gender, subject categories, whether is the only child and family origin; Social type and career-driven have significant differences in subject category; psychological capital’s self-efficacy dimension shows significant differences in gender and whether is only child; the exception dimension has significant differences in family origin; family support’s material support dimensions varies from subject categories, whether is the only child and family origin; Interpersonal supportdimension shows significant differences in gender and whether is only child;Family support’s life information support dimension, emotional support dimension differs in whether is the only child and family origin; interpersonal support dimension shows significant in the family origin.(3) There is a significant positive correlation among the College Students’ family support, psychological capital and occupation tendency each other, except a significant correlation among the family support and actual type.(4) The results of stepwise regression analysis showed that: self-efficacy can significantly predict the actual type of occupation tendency; self-efficacy and material support can significantly predict occupation tendency artistic type; self-efficacy, exception and education atmosphere support can significantly predict the survey type occupation tendency; self efficacy, toughness, interpersonal support and material support can significantly predict the social type of occupation tendency; self-efficacy, material support and social support can significantly predict the tendency of career occupation; self-efficacy and material support can significantly predict the conventional occupation tendency.(5) College Students’ psychological capital has partial mediating effect on the relationship between family support and occupation tendency.
