An New Study On The Rulling Philosophy Of Qin Dynasty

When we talk about Qin dynasty, the first that comes to most people’s mind is it’s farewell and ungrateful. To them, the rapid collapse of the Qin dynasty is due to the ruler using legalist school only. However, a new chance for us to restudy Qin’s ruling thought appears when the bamboo slips like “The Way To Be An Official” meet the public one after another. Firstly, this article made a comparison among “The Way To Be An Official” and “Wei Li Zhi Guan Ji Qian Shou”in order to explain these bamboo slips extracted from a same text,which could be regarded as a generic code using in the officialdom. Secondly, by exploring the official management and various schools which were contained in the bamboo slip “The Way To Be An Official”,“Wei Li Zhi Guan Ji Qian Shou”and “Yu Shu”,we can find Qin’s politics is not respect legalists exclusively but compatibly from the perspective of bamboo slips.Then,by reviewing Qin’s historical development can demonstrate that differen schools was been accepted by Qin dynasty from the angle of practical history. At last,we can conclude that the rulling thought of Qin was made up of various schools,and this conclusion not only has it’s ideological foundation,but also has it’s historical foundation. On the basis,we can reanalysis the traditional cognition about Qin’s rulling philosophy.
