The interesting content and rich writing methods also influence the later literature. This article try to around the "miscellaneous" to talk the varieties of opinions of the writer, the sophisticated version system,the complex meaning, the multiple artistic expression.The article firstly carding six of opinions of this novel’s writer,then put forward my opinion about it.In my view,Xijing Zaji is written by LiuXin,compiled by GeHong.The article also introduce the novel’s vertion briefly.Then, the article will elaborate the complex meaning of the book,even the book’s space is limited. In the variegated scene,the author show the panorama of the Western Han society which contains the author’s real feelings and rational thinking:pround of prosperity of the Western Han Dynasty also worries the snake in the grass behind it,admires talent and character of learned man and chancellors also ironied the alienation of humanity which restricted to the power,records the spirits concept and confucianist dvination which popular in the western Han Dynasty which reflects the ideology and aesthetic of the western Han Dynasty.The expression of Xijing Zaji is stereoscopic and mutiple. The book shows significant features in the narrative and character creation.The perspective of the narrative is diversified,the seletion of events reflects the tendencies of "miscellaneous" and "odd",both truthfully recording and exaggerated writting in the performance of events. The integrated use of multiple methods (complementary materials,problems found in the little things,compared among the figures)make the creation of characters become very vivid.Overall, Xijing Zaji has great historical value and literary value.lt makes up for the lack of official history,provide additional information for the research of the western Han Dynasty. The literary works in the novel provide a wealth of materias for later literature developing. Its expression is also beneficial to later literature creation.
