With the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the teaching of vocabulary has attracted more and more attention from the educators and researchers. However, due to the different individual factors of the learners and the complexity of Chinese words, there still have many problems in the teaching of vocabulary in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. This paper argues that advocates the valence theory into the teaching of vocabulary in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The first four books(for the primary stage) of the "new practical Chinese Reader" as the object of study, by determining the verb valence, verbs can be divided into monovalent verbs, bivalent verbs and trivalent verbs. And the writer find out the usage and structure of these verbs, and has carried on the research and analysis. What’s more, The writer through the HSK dynamic composition corpus to study the errors that foreign students generated in the use of these verbs, and analyze the cause of these errors. Finally, through the analysis of the characteristics of the teaching object and the research on the teaching principles and teaching content, the writer put forward some reasonable methods of vocabulary teaching and learning. The writer expect to help the teaching activities to proceed more smoothly and make the students learning more easily. |
