There is one kind of“兼语”sentence structure in Chinese language called使令pattern, which mostly means making somebody or something do something.,Thiskind of“兼语”structure including some other patterns,which mean command,adviceor suggestions.“使令” pattern is commonly used in our daily life.However,thislanguage phenomenon is not aroused due attention in the process of teaching Chineseto foreigners as a second language,which results many errors of its uses of foreignstudents.It is a key grammar item for foreign students when they are study Chineselanguage and its key grammar.Because they constantly make mistakes like using thewrong sentence patterns and they may be confused with the meanings of the patternwhen they attempt to use them.Based an the above analysis,this paper is intended onthe better comprehension and usage of “使令”pattern of foreign students by making acomparatively overall and in-depth study and analysis of it.This article is divided into six parts.The first part mainly elaborates the reasonsand significance of this study and make a brief introduction about characters of thispattern.This part is aimed to lay a foundation for the rest part of this article.Thesecond part mainly expounds the range,category, features of syntax,semanteme andpragmatics characters of “使令” pattern.The third part makes a overall instruction andanalysis of the tests and the language material,then classifies the mistakes or errors of the foreign students’use. The fourth part annalizes the reasons of the errors during theuse of this pattern and makes a foundation foe the teaching suggestions. At last,takeninto account all the arguments mentioned above,this article puts forward someteaching suggestions from the perspective of the writer and based on the combinationof theories and practice,including the compilation of textbooks,the teachingdesign,and the teaching modes.We sincerely hope that this article can resolve theproblems for foreign students and offer suggestions foe teachers so as to improve thecareer of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
