Feng Xiaogang, one of the best directors in China, who was focused by people when his first comedy the dream factory filmed in 1997. Then,Feng Xiaogang had become the most bo x office appealed director. In Chinese film industry,as a matter of fact, he used to film many k inds of movies, but his comedies were the most distinetive ones which have significance not o nly in literature,film and brand, but also in communication science.As one of the mass media in modern society, movie is inseperable with communication s cience. Feng’s comedies are proofs to above by analysis to his 9 comedies.This article is divi ded into four parts, first part: the summary of director Feng Xiaogang. Second part: explore t he extrodinory charm of Feng’s humorous, expressions, diversified language and the means of broadcasting he used in his comedies. The third part: the thoughts which were transferred by his movies and the means of how to get the commercial value. The last part: according to the new transformations of his films in recent years, forecast the opportunities and challenges.Feng’s comedies have a distinetive personal feature and recognition. He has laid his posit ion through dozens of his movies in the past. He perfectly knew the rule,“audiances first”, and obeyed it. He made his movies based on the perspect of ordinary people, then made it legend by his unique expressions. The most important thing is that, he make people think during their laughs. Through the study of Feng’s comedies on communication perspect, we can get the ch aracteristics in communication of it, as well as the importance of interactive feedback of direct or and audience.
