As the founder of ancient ceramic and pottery in North China. Liao Dynasty’s ceramic and pottery has a remarkable position in Chinese ceramic history. Liao Dynasty’s ceramic and pottery breaks the limition of technology and materials, the ceramic and pottery production extends north grassland regions. Because of its powerful political and military force, the ceramic and pottery productin has be improved, makes brilliant achievements and produce stunning varieties. It reflects cultural communication and inclusiveness in Liao dynasty.such as Qidan’s cockscomb pot. chicken legs bottle, begonia plate:the Central Plains’ ewer. Cup holder, spittoon; Western Asian phoenix head bottle, shoulder bottle.Based on the Archaeological materials of Inner Mongolia region especially chifeng region in recent years, including ceramic and pottery of Liao Dynasty’s kilns and graves. Combined with archaeological findings and historical document, focuses on cultural communication, formative and decorative art of Liao Dynasty’s ceramic and pottery.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, includes five parts:the first is an overview of Inner Mongolia region published the materials of the Liao Dynasty’s ceramic and pottery, such as the background, kilns, production technology. decorative techniques and categories; the second is a summary of Inner Mongolia region published the materials of the Liao Dynasty’s ceramic and pottery; the third is a formative art study on the Liao Dynasty’s ceramic and pottery of Inner Mongolia region published the materials:the forth is a decorative art study on the Liao Dynasty’s ceramic and pottery of inner Mongolia region published the materials; The fifth is a culture communication study on the Liao Dynasty’s ceramic and pottery of Inner Mongolia region published the materials.
