When you see an old person fell down, to help or not to help? There are many people that in different occupations publish their own views. Most of the them are based on both social and group levels, but few people pay attention to individual level. The investigation through the network discovered that the reason why people not to help just because the cost of helping is too expensive. There is a Chinese saying:"poor to protect themselves and economy in the world." In this way, people have to be rich to help others. Prosocial behavior is a classical problem with a long history in the field of psychology, but there are still limitations. The past studies ignore the influences of individual and group characters. Social class as a group variable has drawn scrutiny, however. In psychological science, research has shown that social class influences a lot of domains. In recent years, there have been quite a few researches on social class and prosocial behavior, but the results are controversial.Based on these findings, we argued that social class differences in prosocial behavior were not only about "more" or "less". The upper class and lower class have different types of helping, what’s more, the social class differences in prosocial behavior were associated with return prediction. We conducted two studies to test the hypothesis mentioned above. In study 1 we recruited 242 subjects who were all adults, then used a test to identify the four types of helping. The results indicated that the types of helping of the upper class and lower class were significant different, the upper class were altruists, while the lower class were receptive givers. In Study 2, we exposed upper class and lower class to a request for aid with the promise either of compensation or of no compensation. The results indicated that upper class helped most when compensation was not expected, but lower class helped most when compensation was expected.
