Helping others is the traditional virtues of china, is also a sign to measure social’s moral progress.Only there are more and more selfless people in the community, our country can improve its moral standards, and the society can be developing faster. Kindergarten is a critical period of developing pro-social behavior, so education about helping in early childhood stage can receive better results. Studies have shown that empathy ability and helping behavior is closely related, therefore the empathy training can contribute to the development of children’s helping behavior. Meanwhile the helping behavior is also related to the situations, children’s helping behavior will be different in different situations. Therefore, this study chooses1084-6years old children in Nankai District of Tianjin, using a situational experimental method, in order to study the affection of empathy training and situations to the helping behavior. The results show that:1. Before empathy training, the helping behavior in no-conflict situations was significantly higher than in conflict situations. In no-conflict situations, the children’s helping behavior in top class in kindergarten is higher than in middle class; while in conflict situations, there is no significant difference between ages;2.After empathy training, whether in no-conflict situations or in situations of conflict, the experimental class’s helping behavior is evidently higher than the control class’s; the helping behavior of the experimental class in conflict situations is higher than in the no-conflict situations.According the study’s results, we offer the education suggestion as follows: the first, we should put the curriculum of empathy training into effect, increasing the children’s helping behavior; the second, we should create the conflict situation, training the children’s helping behavior.
