Vocabulary is a very important position and role in a language system. Level of the students in vocabulary, influences its ability for Chinese application. Therefore, the selection of vocabulary in textbook is a key point of teaching and learning With the growing popularity of learning Chinese in Indonesia, as a measure of the ability of Chinese authoritative examination -- the new Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) also continue in the country carried out like a raging fire. According to statistics, in 2015 the first new Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK), the total number of candidates in the various provinces and cities has exceeded four thousand people, except there are more Non-Chinese students to participate in, the examinee age younger than before.In order to achieve "to test and promote teaching", "to test and promote learning" the objective, the new Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) into the daily teaching be imperative. In order to further improve and develop the candidates of student’s vocabulary, so as to improve the student’s Chinese ability, the author determines to compare the Contemporary Chinese textbook vocabulary with the new HSK examination outline vocabulary.Because I taught in the Chinese Department of the Indonesian Surabaya national University, so select the Chinese Department of the first grade comprehensive textbook Contemporary Chinese (Indonesian version) the words as the research object, combined with the new HSK outline one to three levels of vocabulary to comparative analysis. Among them, teaching materials and syllabus for overlapping part of vocabulary was listed, embodies the common and the word building ability of the teaching material. Differences in the two, hand set out beyond the outline of the part of teaching materials for teachers to choose focus on vocabulary, vocabulary teaching outline in omissions supplementation on the other hand. Of course, for teachers to enhance students’ vocabulary influence character by environment, rich vocabulary strategies of student’s examination, provide some references advices for the vocabulary learning. This article on Contemporary Chinese (Indonesian version) research on textbook vocabulary selection problems, help students complete the teaching material of primary stage of vocabulary learning, at the same time, process the corresponding new HSK exam grade three examination ability. The research for the students of contemporary Chinese Indonesia Surabaya area has certain reference significance to the study of textbooks.
