Due to the rapid development of civil aviation transportation in China, more and more pilots are needed by airlines. Safety is the base of continuously progress of airlines. Obviously, in all the factors which may effects the safety of flight, the pilot is the most flexible, most uncontrollable and most valuable to be researched, because the professional quality of pilots effect the safety of civil aviation directly. First, pilot is principle part of flight, which is most probable to be influenced by external factors. Second, team relationship which is not uncertainty can affect the operation of pilots easily. In the other word, excellent team cooperation and overall management will ensure the safety of flight. Studying the frontier phenomenon based on the rapid development of civil aviation transportation in China is the highlight of this thesis. On the base of relative research and files, this thesis introduces the shared mental models to the pilots team of China civil aviation, abstracts shared mental models from pilots team to ensure the safety of flight, and study how the shared mental models effect the performance of pilots, in order to improve the safe and continuous development of civil aviation by promote the management of pilots team.First, by referring to literatures, conversation face to face, and questionnaire, built the initial model of civil aviation pilots’shared mental models and set the hypothesis of this thesis:there are three dimensions in the civil aviation pilots’shared mental models;Second, according to the development theory and process of psychological scale, the questionnaire of civil aviation pilots’shared mental models is worked out and used in sampling survey of airlines of China. After checking, it is sure the questionnaire of civil aviation pilots’shared mental models is credible and valid;Third, after twice investigations by questionnaires, the conclusion is there are three dimensions in civil aviation pilots’shared mental models:task skills, communication and collaboration, and role orientation. By confirmatory factor analysis, it is proved that civil aviation pilots’shared mental models with three factors is most reasonable;Forth, based on this shared mental models, the relationship between shared mental models of civil aviation pilots’team and team performance is studied by difference analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and so on;At last the civil aviation pilots’ shared mental models is completed and it is proved that this model promotes team performance.
