A Preliminary Study Of Beijing Subway Public Art

With the booming economic development, Beijing subway construction is growing rapidly.The Beijing subway public art works appear in subway stations to enrich the artistic expressions,and to decorate the underground space. The article analysis the interpretation of Beijing subwaypublic art from different dimensions by researching parts of the public art works inNanluoguxiang Beijing Subway Station, the Summer Palace Station, and Xidan Station. Throughthe research, the article analysis on how passengers inspace interact with subway public artworks through artistic innovation, and anslysis on how to achieve regional cultural heritage, andhow to reflect the human care of public art in the subway. Meanwhile, the article also analysissome existing problems in Beijing subway public art during the development process. The issueabout parts of the subway public art works by case, and the analysis of public art and public artinterpretation of Beijing subway from different angles, aim to provide some reference forimproving the development of Beijing subway public art.
