Discussion About The Stop Motion Animation Under The New Media Context

Stop Motion Animation is the one with ancient history and was the main force for special effects in science fiction movies. With the development of the technology such as the computer CG technique, the effects of Stop Motion Animation in after effects has vanished from sight. However, as one type of the artistic form for narrative technique and representationstyle, it is still highlighted by some art masters because of its perfection with flaws and simple feeling of hand making. My research orientation aims to explore how to vitalize and develop Stop Motion Animation under the context of the new media.In this essay, we will mainly discuss about the wonderful encounter and possibility of the connection between Stop Motion Animation and the new media through exploring the development of Stop Motion Animation and the new media.
