This report is an introduction, analysis and summary of the author’s simulatedinterpreting course based on The Impacts Of Climate Change On The Ocean. Beforeand during the interpreting task, the author tries to predict the possible emergenciesthat she will meet in the course of interpretation and the related countermeasures,while analyzing both success and failure in her practice by combining concrete cases,such as previous preparation, misinterpreting and so on.The report consists of four parts. In the first two parts, the author has given abrief introduction of interpreting task and the relevant interpretation preparation,including related background research and the prediction of possible emergencies.Part III is an elaboration of the success and failure during the interpreting practice.The last part summarizes the unresolved issues in interpretation practice and therelated considerations, the interpreting mode of online course and the enlightenmentsfor future interpreting work.
