A Report On Simulated Consecutive Interpreting For Chinese Currency Culture Online Lessons

This is a simulated consecutive interpreting report based on five episodes of online lessons about Chinese currency culture.Consecutive interpreting,as a commonly used conference interpreting method,has high requirements for the interpreter’s mental capacity and physical strength.The interpreter simultaneously performs the understanding of the source language,the memory of the content and also the reproduction of the target language.In this report,the author firstly made a brief introduction of the Interpretive theory and then selected some typical examples from the material for detailed analysis.After the simulation,the author concluded the findings and also the unsettled problems.And she reflected her whole performance,hoping to offer some help for the interpreting in the future.
