Qingdao, has experienced the vicissitudes and the baptism of ahundred years, it experienced three times of aggression in Germany,Japan, the colonial powers, the history of Qingdao created a thick andunique. Because of the special history, many different styles of buildingswill take root here, to Qingdao left a rich heritage, add exotic to the city.But many buildings are still hidden throughout Qingdao, and did not getsufficient protection and research.Qingdao Naval Museum the51building was built during theGerman occupation, because after the founding of new China has been inthe military jurisdiction, they are not known, the building and the historyof Qingdao together, played an important role in Qingdao’s importanthistorical moment. So research on it has become very necessary. Throughthe study of building51, more clear the whole historical value of thisbuilding, and demonstrates the application of the building in each periodstage and the special significance, through the study of its history builder,makes the building more three-dimensional full public exhibition now.Through building51, we study the different periods of Qingdao’sarchitectural style and city planning in the city, in order to change the conversion, architectural style, more like the understanding of the51floor of the overall style and artistic value. Finally, application of the51floor of the old building and the protection methods are explored, in orderto give the Navy Museum Library provides some suggestions, makinghistory and modern organic combination. Hope that through this research,we can make a more profound, more systematic understanding ofBuilding No.51, uncover the mystery of the building, so that we canperceive history, respect history.
