In modern Chinese grammar Chinese order occupies an extremely importantposition,Chinese is a kind of isolated language and lack of inflection. It mainly relieson word order and function words to express grammatical relations and grammaticalmeanings. English is a kind of inflected language, rich inflections, and it mainlydepends on inflections to express the relationship between words. So compared withEnglish, Chinese word order is more important. The author investigated the corpus of HSK dynamic compositions of BeijingLanguage University and found that in all of the wrong statistics for foreign studentsthe order error’s frequency is the highest, so I focus on the study of word order errorfor English background learners. The first, screening all of the word order error corpus, and selecting thefollowing five countries word order error corpus of Australia, America, British,Canada and New Zealand. The second, making a detailed classification to them. Theword order error corpus can be divided into five categories, they are adverbial, attributive, complement, object, subject and predicate. And then make a twiceclassification of adverbial, it divided into adverb, preposition, auxiliary verb and noun. The attributive divided into nominal and predicate. The last, according to these corpusand on the basis of professional knowledge, I will make a comparison and erroranalysis.According to the above error analysis, I will explain the reasons of error. Thereare in total four reasons: the first, negative transfer of mother tongue; the second, negative transfer of target language; the third, the influence of teacher’s teaching; thelast, the influence of compiling textbooks. What is more, I put forward three suggestions: the first, the input of culture in teaching Chinese as a foreign language;the second, to teach step by step; the last, to make the teaching lively and interesting.
