Abstract:Nowadays in the field of Chinese teaching, Middlebury school and Middlebury model for both the foreign and domestic Chinese teaching has had a profound effect. Now every year during the summer vacation, the United States can offer many short-term Chinese training program in China, most of "immersion" Chinese teaching mode, this kind of teaching mode is more and more attention and application. Which influence and good reputation with the university of Wisconsin Madison campus of NanKai university/TianJin normal university summer Chinese projects (hereinafter referred to as for UWT project), Princeton university (PIB) Beijing summer Chinese course, ACC of capital economic and trade university, is located in the Beijing university of Beijing "Harvard college (HBA)" and so on. These in China combined with their own school project requirements and teaching features, in middlebury mode explored on the basis of the different characteristics of unique teaching system and mode. But found that when the author refer to relevant literature, most studies about such projects at home and abroad focus on the macro description of project structure and teaching mode and evaluation. From the concrete practice of classroom teaching research is very few, because of this, this paper hope through the teaching practice of the author personally and comprehension, through the investigation and feedback of teaching object and the quantitative analysis of classroom activity data, do a useful exploration in project teaching research.This paper take the case analysis method、the natural survey method、literature method、 observation method etc. To middlebury mode of the United States at the university of Wisconsin summer Chinese classroom teaching as the research object of the project,the project in Chinese classroom teaching mode are introduced and analyzed. Lesson in grade one of large and small class two class type as an example, the objective evaluation of their advantages and disadvantages, summarized its teaching characteristics. On the basis of expounds his views and opinions, to the prospect of this project in China in the future are put forward, hope this research paper can provide reference for future teaching practice and reference.
