The development of economic and technological not only collapsed the scope of t he exchange of people’s lives, also collapsed the scope for human consumption, peopl e can stay at home to sell goods around the world.Consumer as the core philosophy of life infiltrate the various spheres of life in the commodity globalization and moder nization push.The ultimate aim is to satisfy the consumer’s living conditions of people’ s lives and basic needs, but also people exist in practical ways, in the sense that peo ple get free and comprehensive development and to live a happier life.However,the im provement of living standards also contributed to people’s values and ideas change.In t he continued development of market economy, materialism and individualism spread v alues,the consumerism gradually replaced the traditional consumer values,a new value i n the form of gradual disintegration of the traditional doctrine of thrift and process ha s been established, thus people began in the "trance" will be defined as the consumpti on of happiness and pleasure. New value in the form of ideas to stimulate the nerves and spending people’s material, but deserted their inner spirit and happiness of the pe ople closely associated with it.The first part is mainly to explore the relationship between happiness and consum ption, to require as a consumer, happy to start. Characteristics of happiness, consumer spending and basic connotation times were shallow exploration and explanation. Mean while, reveals the deep-seated contradictions inherent consumption and happiness. Cons idered inherent contradictions of consumption and happiness is the driving force as the realization of happiness needs.The second part of the article the basic connotation and ethical dilemmas consum erism consumption and happiness made to explain the correlation. The main connotatio n and characteristics of consumerism, the impact on China; ethical paradox of consum erism and happiness, and consumerism lead to the meaning of life and social crisis an d the impact on the natural environment were discussed.The third part on the plight of contemporary consumerism, exploring ethical coor dination happiness and consumption. The major route from happiness and ethical cons umer ethical foundation, happiness and harmony of moral principles and consumer spe nding in harmony and happiness persuasion and guide people to carry on the pursuit of happiness, to achieve a unified ethical consumption and happiness.
