In recent years, Korea Companies in the recruitment of staff is very important when spoken Chinese as a second language ability, the number of students choose Chinese also increased year by year, many South Koreans learning Chinese is mainly communicate in Chinese and express their ideas. Therefore, the status of oral English class is very important in the possession of the Han in Chinese teaching. In this paper, under the framework of action research in foreign language university in South Korea, Confucius college senior class adult students as the research object, on how to carry out suitable for Confucius Institute in South Korea to discuss the topic of the senior oral English class teaching based on research and practice.This paper conducted two rounds of action research, each round of study on implementing six weeks, oral reports at the same time by classroom observation, questionnaires, classroom recordings, interviews, and the end of the course assignments for the study and data collection method. In the first round of action research, the author through the questionnaire survey found that Korean foreign large Confucius Institute senior class learners have strong learning needs to improve the oral communication ability, but the learner in the advanced phases after its Chinese expression capacity far can not meet the needs of the actual communication, so we try to adopt the advanced topic in oral Chinese in the course of discussion method, in order to further improve the language learners’communicative competence. Concrete actions and measures are:to teach students in accordance with their aptitude, reasonable choice topic; a multi pronged, improve the participation enthusiasm. Through classroom observation, recording, the results of a questionnaire survey analysis we found that the main effect of the first round, the action research is:"making interest topic outline" to improve the classroom fun; emphasizing process communicative communication discussion of improving students’classroom participation. But at the same time, we also found some problems as follows:interactive form a single, students opening rate differences, the lack of assessment of learning effect. In view of the above problems, we took second rounds of action research, concrete actions and measures for the scientific and reasonable:packet, strengthen the interaction between the students; to provide passage expression framework, strengthen the ability of expression by paragraph; maintain discussion enthusiasm, strengthen evaluation means. In the implementation of action we mainly adopted the method of group discussion, group debate. Through classroom observation, recording and questionnaire result analysis we found that the main effect of the second round of the action research is:break through the traditional teaching mode, build an effective classroom with students as the center; to improve the participation degree opening rate and classroom of students; improve the evaluation means and evaluation of learning effect.This study is divided into six chapters. Chapter1:discusses the research background, reason and meaning; Chapter2:describes the basic concept to define and discuss the topic, functional teaching and action research, and discussion on the topic of domestic and foreign research methods were Commentary; Chapter3:Introduction to action research overview and case study design; Chapter4:the first round of action research; Chapter5:the second round of action research; Chapter6:Summary teacher action research based on advanced oral class discussion topics. Finally, talk about the limitations of this study and the prospects for the future.
