A Study Of The New Superintendentlocal College Students Of China’s Public Security Fire Army Psychologically Healthy Status And Their Influential Factors

Objective:To understand the new superintendent local college students early training stage and the training of trainees common mental health status, psychological characteristics and changes, research the effect of training on the mental health of trainees, found that students’problems of mental health, and study the related factors on the mental health of trainees, and make recommendations and measures to further improve receive the local college students in the future, the training department of the Fire troops make training program, personnel training and participate in work of Fire troops provide the scientific basis of the work and guidance.Methods:Take cluster sampling method to participate in the2009new superintendent local college students as the main random sample, a total of371subjects. Using self-made new superintendent local college students questionnaire and symptom checklist (SCL-90), by questionnaire assessment, discussion to understand, individual talk and other methods, research is divided into two stages. The first step of study conducting the questionnaire and symptom checklist (SCL-90) after training of2weeks. The second step of the study conducting the questionnaire and SCL-90again before the end of training. All the data are inputted database after order, used SPSS13.0software for statistical analysis.Resu I ts:1. The SCL-90scores of the local college students are compared to military norm before training, except for somatization and phobic, the other scores forced, relationships, depression, anxiety, hostility, paranoia and psychosis factor, are lower than the military norm (P<0.05or P<0.01). The mental health status of local college students was better than soldiers. Compared with the national norm, except for interpersonal relationships, anxiety and paranoia three factors, the trainees have high scores in the somatization, fear and psychosis factor, but lower than the national norm in the force, depression and hostility scores, There were significant differences (P <0.01).2. The factor scores of the local college students are lower than military norm, the mental health of students is better than the military norm; compared with the national norm, except fear factor, the other somatization, interpersonal Relationships, depression, anxiety, hostility, paranoia and psychosis scores are lower than the national norm, the difference is statistically significant (P<0.05or P<0.01).3.According the training will be strengthen the students’level of fitness and volotional quality. Withe the increasing the sense of identiticational, the students are pround of their job.The level of psychological health has been noticeably improved comparing the SCL-90scores.This suggest that the training played a positive role to students’ health.Conelusion:The healthy level of new superintendent local college students is good, especially after training. It shows the selection and the quality of the students is successful. But there are some students show mental defect. At the same time, different sexuality, politics ststus, family background, education background and growing environment have affection on them. So the auther suggest a) guarantee the quality of students b) reform of the enroll system c) improve the officer’s professional skill d) scheduled the training date scientially e) offer the course of psychology f) establish the professional team to help the students, improve and frefect the intervention system g) broaden the communication way, help the studends to exclude the difficulty and anxiety.
