The early Taoist classics taiping scriptures has more than1800years old distancetoday, but one of the more positive thoughts in today still has the research value. To acertain extent, it can be used as we learn of the specimen. This article only researchthe clan ethics thought of the taiping scriptures and comb this clan ethicssystematically. On the basis of original research in academia, make the clan ethicsfurther thinking and deepen. Clan ethics refer to the adjustment of the relationshipbetween family members and family behavior standard and code of ethics. It is a codeof ethics to make the members of family live in harmony, as well as the guarantee forpossible the continuation of the family. At many points in the taiping scriptures clanethical thoughts, to sum up, the writer elaborates the divided into three parts.The Cheng-Fu retribution as a characteristic in the taiping scriptures, exhortpeople to be good and guard them against evil with the principles and mechanisms ofgood and evil retribution. It as theological foundation of clan ethics system, theCheng-Fu retribution provides the theoretical basis for family members between goodand evil retribution,and explain the social existence of good and evil retributioninconsistent phenomenon. The purpose is to advise people to do more charitableworks. In this paper, we compare the Cheng-Fu retribution thought with the buddhistideas of karma, and make a more clear understanding between Taoism and Buddhismon the good and evil retribution.China is a country known for filial piety. Chinese filial piety is very rich sinceancient times. When it comes to filial piety, most people will think of Confucian filialpiety directly. Taoism as an indigenous religion of China, not miss out on such a coreidea naturally. Early filial piety of Taoism thoughts absorb and draw lessons from theConfucian filial piety ethics, in isomorphic “home country” social background.Absorbed the basic norms of Confucian secular level, and make the basic norms offilial piety extended to generalized norms governing the country. The taipingscriptures is on the basis of the Taoist beliefs and teachings, to combine filial pietywith the pursuit of longevity and immortality and the Cheng-Fu retribution. There arethe point of different between the filial piety of Taoism and Confucian thoughts.Clan continues is also an integral part of the clan ethics. Generation of childrento make the clan continued existence, therefore, it is particularly important to put forward more population for rejuvenating. In the patriarchal society, the taipingscriptures advocate respecting for women on the basic theory of Yin and Yangharmony. It fully affirmed the important role of women in childbearing, and the effectof the contribution of women in the clan harmony. The taiping scriptures is accordingto the number of Yin and Yang, put forward the “Kazuo two wives” marriage mode.The purpose is to against the prevailing in society at that time with a girl under theage of cruelty. After1800years of history, the taiping scriptures is still worthy of ourlearning and using for reference. We should learn something of value critically,according to the society and the characteristics of the times.
