Film And Television Adaptation Of The Internet Novel And Communication Research

In recent years, film and television adapted from the Internet novel have becomecommon practice,"Zhen Huan Biography"," Lovelorn Thirty-three Days","To The Youth,"set off another round ratings boom. Since the "First Intimate Contact" is onto the screen,through the accumulation of more than ten years, the Internet novel adapted from the TVdrama become mature. Especially in the Internet age, with the power of the new media and adifferent communication strategy, it is well spread. However, the current academic researchis focused on the interpretation of the phenomenon. But not Analysis propagationcharacteristics from the perspective of communication.In view of this, this paper reviews the adaptation of the Internet novel from2000to2013,and further analysis the causes of this phenomenon. Then through three classic adaptation ofcases, summarize three common adaptation ways. Analysis focused on the planning, filming,broadcast and other production aspects of these TV drama adaptation. To see how the adaptersuse the new media to set topics, initiate interactive activities, and initiate secondarytransmission through the network. Then analysis the dissemination of results from thecommunicator, the audience, the intermediary’s perspective. In the communication process,authors of the novels became civilian opinion leaders, needs of the audience are met, theadapter play a role in setting the agenda. Although there is a great room for development, butthe process of its adaptation and dissemination still have many problems, too commercial,entertainment, is not conducive to long-term development of film culture. Finally, questionsand recommendations exist.This paper tries to find a more efficient path for film and television adapted from theInternet novel, to spread it better.
