The Influence Of Social Identity For The New Generation Of Migrant Workers’Creativity: The Mediating Effect Of Integration Strategy

With the transformation of social structure and the advancement of urbanization,the internal of the whole migrant workers have taken place in significant generationaldivide, born after the year of1980of the new generation migrant workers graduallybecome the whole of the group of migrant workers. This study focuses on the group’sdual cultural experience in rural and urban background, continue to focus on its socialidentity, cultural adaptation.On this basis, extended to the fresh field for researchers oncreativity.The purpose of this study is to explore the way of new generation migrant workers’social identity for the impact of its creativity, as well as the integration of the culturaladaptation strategy play an intermediary role between them.This study has great significance in theory, also has great application value inpractice. First of all,from the angle of creativity, it can open up a new field on theresearch about the group of new generation of migrant workers; To reveal the socialidentity and the relationship between the integration strategy and creativity, which makeup the blank in the research of creativity. Secondly,from the perspective of practice, thisstudy can help the new generation of migrant workers to choose the appropriate socialidentity and provide this group with reference to adopt a more appropriate culturaladaptation strategy. To some extent,it can improve their social status, make the wholesociety abandoned bad stereotypes which lasted for a long time about them. Inaddition,It is beneficial to other cross-cultural groups’ social adaptation,also offers anew perspective to inspire people’s creativity.This study surveyed Yantai, Rizhao, Shanghai, Shenzhen and other places of183new generation migrant workers as the object, used of social identity questionnaire,cultural adaptation strategy scale, creativity test measurements, and the integrated use oft-test, correlation analysis, regression analysis, deviation correction percentile ofnon-parametric Bootstrap method to investigate the new generation of migrant workerscultural adaptation strategies in mediating role between social identity and creativity, toestablish three relations mediation model.The results showed that:(1) the newgeneration of migrant workers,social identity affect their creativity: single identity of new generation migrant workers strong negative prediction function, dual identity has astrong positive prediction function.(2) the new generation of migrant workers,socialidentity affect their cultural adaptation strategy:on the integration strategy score dualidentity higher than that of single identity significantly;dual identity positively predictcultural adaptation strategy of "integration strategy", single identity negative predict the"integration strategy" of the cultural adaptation strategy.(3) the new generation ofmigrant workers,cultural adaptation strategies affect their creativity:"integrationstrategy" positively predict creativity.(4)the new generation of migrant workers,socialidentity affect their creativity, the integration strategy play a role of intermediary.
