With the development of society and the boom of science and technology, our country has present changes on politics, economy, culture, etc. which pushed the language forward and the continuous development of the Chinese words meaning. The emergence in large numbers of neology phenomena makes it become one of the topics concerned by linguists and accompanied by correlative monographs and literature. The research on Chinese loan words within the spectrum of neology has exist in Chinese words research category all the while, but the specific and exclusive study on it is seldom. Chinese loan words add new lexical meaning by borrowing from other language on the basis of the original Chinese vocabulary. In this paper, in view of the weak link of Chinese lexical meaning, we will combining qualitative and quantitative analysis to take specific research on Chinese loan words. It can help us discriminate the borrowing types of the Chinese loan words, which facilitate summarizing the characteristics of Chinese loan words, and further, analyzing the motivation of Chinese loan words. Through the analysis of the types, characteristics and motivation, it can provide valuable reference for the standardization of Chinese loan words. Standard formulation is not eliminate non-standard phenomena in the process of borrowing, but objectively it is a restraint on external semantic borrowing phenomena.
