Contrary to anthropocentrism, non-anthropocentrism is an important branch aswell as a significant subject in study of modern ecological ethics. This paper, with thehelp of prevalent logic analysis and analytical method, analyzes the theoreticalbackground, core idea and academic essence of non-anthropocentrism, what’s more,generalizes the non-anthropocentrism’s theoretical framework and core value. Byfinding and analyzing the philosophical dilemma of non-anthropocentrism ecologicalethics and comprehensively analyzing non-anthropocentrism, this paper provides ascientific theory support for constructing a reasonable ecological ethic and exploresethical paths to solve the severe ecological issues that human beings are facing now.The first two chapters introduces the non-anthropocentrism ecological ethics.The theory, realistic settings and major schools of non-anthropocentrism have beenanalyzed, theoretical basis, realistic settings of non-anthropocentrism have beenindentified and the two natures of non-anthropocentrism have been testified. One isanti-anthropocentrism, including individualism which stresses on individual intrinsicvalue and holism which stresses on collective rights.The third and fourth chapters evaluate the non-anthropocentrism’s ethicalconcept from both positive and negative aspects. The third chapter theoretically andpractically analyzes non-anthropocentrism’s contemporary value while holds apositive attitude to the active significance of non-anthropocentrism. The fourthchapter analyzes the non-anthropocentrism’s dilemma in theory, absence in rightholders, values and morality included. In addition, it also finds the challenges thatnon-anthropocentrism faces in practically, given the appropriate conclusions ofweather the non-anthropocentrism can guide us to dealing with the relations betweenhuman beings and the nature.The last chapter analyzes the irrational dimensions of the non-anthropocentrismand the traditional anthropocentrism, analyzes their reasonable points.Then give the reason that we muse rely on Marx’s viewpoint towards nature and adhere to thedialectical unification of man and nature to build a reasonable modernanthropocentrism.
