The structure of “yi…jiu…”is common a Chinese sentence and is widelyused in daily life. The structure of “yi…jiu…”is one of the primary grammaticalitems that foreign students need to learn. But during the process of teaching itas a foreign language, we find a high rate of errors when foreign students arelearning and using this sentence pattern. The research results of “yi…jiu…”isnecessarily to be used in the process of teaching it as a second language toraise the teaching quality.This dissertation is divided into five parts.The first chapter is the instruction. It introduces the motivations andsignificance of this topic. At the same time, it also shows the the researchmethods and the review of existing research results.The second chapter is the research of “yi…jiu…”. The author analyzes thissentence pattern from three aspects: syntax, semantics and pragmatics, whichare important theory basis of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The third chapter is error analysis of “yi…jiu…”pattern. This paperanalyzesthe types and reasons of errors which are on the Beijing Languageand Culture University HSK dynamic composition corpus,The fourth chapter is teaching advices of “yi…jiu…”pattern. This partintroduces tree teaching principles and makes a simple teaching design.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.
