Since twenty-first Century, along with our country social economygrowing, increasingly rich material life, people pay more attention to thepursuit of beauty in solving the problem of food and clothing of thesquare, which also includes many men. In today’s society, the measure ofa man’s charm, standard, not only is the ability and character of internal,external image of the beautiful or not is also put forward higherrequirements. For a number of successful men, often attend publicoccasions, career success is also very concerned about their image in thepublic eye, therefore, in recent years, men’s cosmetics this commodity hasbecome the new darling of the domestic consumer goods. In today’smarket economy, the competition of similar products is not only theproduct itself than the quality, the packing quality also affect the brutalcompetition, can be said that a good packaging design can increase thequality and charm of goods, and the failure of the packaging can makeproducts less attractive.In this paper through the understanding of domestic and foreignmale cosmetics packaging development history, present situation andfuture trends, in the packaging design of plane visual language throughthe design elements of colors, shapes, patterns, characters, etc. reasonable collocation are summarized, combined with foreign successful packingcase and the industry development, and the analysis of the directrelationship between the male consumer psychology and cosmeticspackaging, summed up a set of relatively scientific and practicalconclusions, to complement and improve the theoretical system of thedomestic men’s cosmetics packaging design, and in the future mayprovide theoretical guidance and experience reference for some goodspackaging design.
