Research On The Funeral Etiquette Of The Feudal Princes In "the Spring And Autumn Annals" And "Zuo Zhuan"

The funeral is an important content of China ancient rites and music culture,especially in the Spring and Autumn period. The funeral etiquette of the feudalprinces, which is an important part of Zhou dynasty music civilization, wereinvestigated to study, and therefore it is helpful to our understanding of the Spring andAutumn period of social etiquette system. But at present, the study dedicated to the"The Spring and Autumn Annals" and "Zuo Zhuan" in the funeral as the object is veryfew, which still needs to continue to study. Therefore the author makes an analysis of"The Spring and Autumn Annals" and "Zuo Zhuan" in the state funeral and probes thefuneral, and then discusses its specific contents.From the procedural point of view, the seigneur funeral can be broadly dividedinto their funeral etiquette, burial rituals and sacrifice mourning rituals such as threeparts. However, because of the limit of time and ability, it is difficult to conduct acomprehensive analysis of the state funeral. Therefore, this Master’s thesis onlyselects funeral etiquette of the parts, in order to peep the funeral."The Spring and Autumn Annals" and "Zuo Zhuan" in the feudal etiquetteinclude Hong, Obituary, Han, Sui, Funeral, Cry, Condole and so on seven aspects.Therefore, this paper is divided into seven chapters, respectively on the seven aspects.The first chapter mainly discusses the meaning of Hong, the differences betweenHong and Zu and the Hong of the place; The second chapter tells the meaning ofObituary and the object, content and the variation were analyzed, and then thephenomenon of No Obituary were investigated; The third chapter, Han, insists of thedefinition, content, rice contains, with identity and with the ceremony, and probes intothe cause; The fourth chapter examines the meaning of the Sui, to Sui time and Suiidentity, to Sui species are also involved; The fifth chapter discusses the meaning ofFuneral and their places, their ways, their days, their period and tell their gift,emphatically elaborated "Zhou don’t funeral in their temple" this problem; The sixthchapter analyzes the meaning of Cry, Cry of the time, place and object; Theseventh chapter, emphatically discusses the meanings of Condole, time, place andidentity, content, and funerals don’t repeat issues such as funerals.In general, the Spring and Autumn period of the funeral etiquette were damagedto a great extent, especially from the following aspects, such as Hong，Fu and Condole, cannot be in accordance with the rites of Zhou.
