The Study About The Poetry Of Hua Zhen

In Chinese peotry history, the Song Dynasty peotry shows its unique artisticcharm and cultural characteristics. Its achievement is roughly the same with thepoetry of Tang Dynasty. Among lots of poets in Song Dynasty, everyone has his owndistinguishing feature, for example Hua Zhen. Hua Zhen is born in the middle and latestage of Northern Song Dynasty when the peotry has gotten rid of the late Tang andthe Five Dynasties Poetry and the peotry of “Song Diao” has been graduallyestablished. During that period, there are numerous literary works and great writers,for example Wang Anshi and Su Shi who stand on a prominent status and havehuge influence on the literature, at the same time there are many distinctive poets, forexample Hua Zhen. Kuaiji Countinued Chorography says that Hua Zhen is fond oflearning, good at poetry and article, and praised by celebrities. However there is nosystem research about Hua Zhen and his poetry in the academic circles now.Therefore,this thesis, based on Hua Zhen’s peotry and correlative classics, combinedwith his life experience, characters, knowledge and cluture mentality, attampts tomake a system and comprehensive research about Hua Zhen and then thoroughlydiscuss the interactive relationship between the personal experience and the contentof the text. Finally readers will have a more abundant cognition about Song Dynastypoetry.This thesis falls into Introduction,Text,and Epilogue.The Introduction mainly discuss the value of Hua Zhen’poetry.Then the authormakes a description on the researching context, actuality and means of the paper.The body part of the paper shows a more comprehensive study on Hua Zhenabout his life and his creations.This part is divided into the following four chapters:The first chapter:Firstly, it is about Hua Zhen’s life and it briefly introduces theinfluence from the social environment of imperial examination and revivalconfucianism. Sencondly the author introduces Hua Zhen’s political life and therelationship between him and the political reformation of Wang An-shi,and the clique struggles during Northen Song.Base the analysis, we summarize the change of hispolitical psychology. In the end, the author arrange the recordation and circulation ofHua Zhen’s works.The second chapter:It analyse Hua Zhen’s character.This chapter focuses on poetcharacter, combined with poet’t usual life experirence, politic life experience and hiscreations when the Northern Song Dynasty is in the social and scholar environment ofvaluing literature,the clique struggles and confucianism.So we can make a objectiveevaluation about Hua Zhen’s character and thoughts.The third chapter:The main contents of this chapter mainly combs andsummarizes the content of poetry, then discusing the poet many complex culturalcharacter and mentality by analyzing poetry so as to construct a morethree-dimensional image of the poet.The fourth chapter:It analyze and summarize the poetry artistic characteristicscombined with the background of development of poetry in late Northern SongDynasty. Hua Zhen’s poetry not only has the Song poetry general features,implicit andreasonal interest and so on, but also derives different types of literary style formingheroic steep and fresh smooth style.
