The ability of putting forward creative and scientific questions isan important part in the study of creativity, in recent years, with theincreasing number of researchers and study in dept and extension,gradually got a multifaceted and multi-level research results. Studythe ability of putting forward creative and scientific questions canrich the creativity theory, it also provides theoretical basis andpractice guidance for school education to cultivate students’ abilityto ask questions and creativity, thus this research is of greatsignificance. This research to the high grade students as the researchobject, use the methods of test and experiment, Through theinstructions established a clear and direct contact between creativeperformance and the external incentives, to study the externalmotivation and cognitive styles influenced on teenagers’ ability ofputting forward creative scientific questions. The main researchconclusions are as follows:(1)External motivation has remarkable influenced on theteenagers’ ability of putting forward creative scientific questions.(2)Evaluation and reward have significant effect on the teenagers’ability of putting forward creative scientific questions., theparticipants of evaluation and reward group got scores both creativescientific questions ability and each dimension were significantly higher than control group.(3)External motivation and cognitive style have significantinteraction to teenagers’ ability of putting forward creative scientificquestions.(4)In the different cognitive styles of subjects, external motivationalso has different influences on the creative scientific questions.The presence of independent model subjects, evaluation and rewardgroups’ score were significantly higher than control group in ability ofcreative scientific questions and original dimensions; The presenceof dependent model subjects, evaluation and reward groups’ scorewere significantly higher than control group in creative scientificquestions ability score and each dimension.
