Protection And Inheritance Of Chinese-Korean Traditional Residential Culture

With the development of modem society, our living environment has been replaced by reinforced concrete. Mainstream architectural culture has profoundly stuck on traditional residential culture of ethnic minority. Together with the lack of awareness towards protecting the residential culture of ethnic minority, it had led to the lost of these culture which are meaningful and particular. Thus, the traditional ethnic residential culture is on the verge of extinction.Residential culture is an important signal of an ethnic group,and is also an evidence for history. With the continuous integration of cultures from various nations* Chinese-Korean residential culture is facing the danger of leaving itself in the big circle of culture. So we must protect it,as well as promote and inherit it. and find efficient measures towards its inheritance and development.This article mainly begins from the principle of the protection and inheritance of Chines-Korean residential culture, and subsumes the significance of its protection and its existence via the analysis of the geography,humanity aspect and the development of this culture. By referring to the protecting measures towards residential cultures from other ethnic groups,as well as considering the current situation and the troubles of Chinese-Korean itself,it gains inspiration of protecting Chinese-Korean residential culture and derive from it the detail measures and main principles of residential architecture protection. In spite of this,having selected the aspect of the origin of Chinese-Korean culture in Yanbian. this article analyzes the historical trace of this culture and studied the significance of the relating protection and inheritance. Simultaneously,it concludes the value of the existence of this culture by large amount of literature reading* and it also finds the troubles in the protection and inheritance of current residential culture by field research. Finally,it compares Chinese-Korean and other ethnic groups and come up with some applicable solutions of the protection and development of Chinese-Korean residential culture,which will be a good conference for more efficient protection and i of this culture.
