On The Expression Of Painterly Language In Oil Painting

Oil painting, as a kind of foreign art form, its painterly language has constantly met impact and challenges from all sides in the process of its rich development in China, which including the continuous expansion and replacement of photographic; the infiltration of commercial market as well as the impact of western artistic ideas and forms and etc. However, the painterly language of oil painting ontology is what we should stick to no matter in what age. The development of painterly language is also by no means the simple and endless imitation and duplication of the successful models. This paper mainly spreads out around the painterly language of oil painting. The first part introduces the vital importance of the painterly language in the creation of oil painting. The second part concludes three kinds of comparatively typical painterly language by the method of induction and analyzes the unique artistic charm of different painterly language which presented in the creations with specific cases. The third part states my own exploration of the expression of painterly language in my oil painting creations from both sides of my topic and language expression. The last part summarizes my own views on the development of painterly language in oil painting creation.
