The Effect Ion Of Attentional Load On Negative Emotion Information Identification’s Attentional Blink

Emotion is an important psychological activity which influences cognitive processing, even every aspect of our life. Emotions, particularly negative emotions’ identification whether need attention is the focus of debate in psychology.So the research about negative emotions information has important values.Most of previous researches focus on negative emotions faces and negative emotion words, but seldom focus on negative emotion voices, in addition, the methods about researches usually use questionnaire and initiate paradigm.But this research is based on the existing researches, using a attentional blink paradigm to explore the influence of attentional load on negative emotion information Identification.In order to systematically study explore the influence of attentional load on negative emotion information Identification’s attentional blink, On the basis of previous related literatures,this research is to explore the negative emotion faces’,the negative emotion words’, the negative emotion voices’attentional blink effect by controlling the level of attentional load.Experiment 1 uses the negative emotion faces to explore the influence of attentional load on negative emotion faces identification’ attentional blink,using 2 (attentional load:high, low) x 2 (standing faces’emotion:negative, neutral) x 3 (delay condition:lag1, lag3, lag7)three factors within -subject experiment design.Experiment 2 uses the negative emotion words to explore the influence of attentional load on negative emotion words identification’attentional blink,using 2 (attentional load:high, low) x 2 (words’emotion:negative, neutral) x 3 (delay condition:lag1, lag3, lag7) three factors within -subject experiment design.Experiment 3 uses the negative emotion voices to explore the influence of attentional load on negative emotion voices identification’ attentional blink,using 2 (attentional load:high, low) x 2 (voices’emotion:negative, neutral) x 3 (delay condition:lag1, lag3, lag7) three factors within -subject experiment design.Through analyzing the experiment data, we get the following conclusion:(1)negative emotional information’s identification is not fully automated and need attention.(2)negative emotional information exsits attentional blink reduced effect.(3) the negative emotional information’s identification exsits attentional blink reduced effect with the low level of attentional load, but exsits obvious attentional blink effect with the high level of attentional load effect.
