The healthy growth of middle school students which is not only the inexhaustible power of Social Development (Main & Hesse,1990), but also the original intention of quality education. Recently the problem of middle school students’ healthy have aroused the public widespread concern. Because of adolescents’ distinctive psychosomatic characteristics leading to more pressure which both from internal and external, thus they would face great difficulties in the process of adjustment. Previous studies have shown that compared with objective stress, stress perceived subjectively by adolescents can better predict the social adaptation. The individual coping strategies have an important impact on stress and adaptation among middle school students. Therefore, this study uses a longitudinal study design to explore the association within Perception on Stress after admission, social adaptation and adopted strategies, and further improves the adolescents’ social adaption.This research used a questionnaire study ways through the Entrance Pressure Perception Questionnaire, the Social Adaptation Condition Assessment Questionnaire and Stress Coping Strategies. For 678 middle school students four times tracking survey, to explore the trend of middle school students’ perception on stress, adaption, coping strategies. While the use of hierarchical linear model (HLM) and AMOS22.0 to explore the relationship within the three variables.The results show that:(1) The four times total variance in the measurement of social adaptation, accounted for 43% caused by the differences between individuals. (2) The average social adaptation drop of 0.53 points for each test, but did not reach a significant level. (3) The average perceived stress growth of 3.15 points for each test. (4) The average coping strategies drop of 0.39 points for each test. (5)Social adaptation and pressures of middle school students perceived negative correlation, positive correlation with coping strategies. (6)Strategies both partially mediating role between stress perception and social adaptation, but also plays a moderator role.Conclusion:The social adaption of middle school students is not optimistic which need to be improved.The association between social adaptation and perception on stress is negative, while the association between social adaptation and coping strategies is positive. By changing the level of middle school students perceived stress and coping strategies to improve the social adaptation.
