| Chinese folk art is broad and profound with long history, and it is culturally diverse. Flax embroidery in Shanxi Province is an important developmental field of ethnic culture art. The embroidery is not only the cultural inheritance, but also the representation of nowadays Chinese art. From the influence of its origin and cultural inheritance on graduation design work, this thesis mainly analyzes the inheritance of flax embroidery in Shanxi province with scientific research methods, taking the folk art aesthetics and sociology as basic theory. Traditional folk art is going through a winding and difficult road, which means inheritance and development. Therefore, flax embroidery nowadays is so representative that it could be popularized in the inheritance of folk art.The research is from the perspective of folk esthetics. It falls into five parts. First, introduce the historical background and related research, and illustrate the purpose and significance of the research. Second, explore deeply the origin and status of the flax embroidery in Shanxi Province to provide enough evidence for the latter argument. Third, analyze the artistic characteristics of flax embroidery in Shanxi Province in comprehensive way, and try to show the artistic features from the artistic form and the importance of performance style. Fourth, analyze the understanding of the inheritance of flax embroidery in Shanxi Province, and the prospect and significance of its inheritance and development under nowadays society. Fifth, discuss the influence of technique of flax embroidery in Shanxi Province on the graduation design work. From the perspective of color and technique of flax embroidery, the thesis analyzes the reproduction, the problems and resolution. At the same time, the problems and challenges in the development of flax embroidery in Shanxi Province could arouse the attention of the public and its enthusiasts, which could spread the traditional handicraft art of Shanxi flax embroidery more widely. |
