A Study Of Twenty-four Poetic Styles In The Perspective Of Ecological Aesthetics

Ecological Aesthetics is the response to the ecology in aesthetic field, which researches men’s existential nature, way of thinking, aesthetic mode from the perspective of ecology, ultimate care of men is its eventual orientation. "Twenty-four Poetic Styles" has a rich ecological wisdom, this paper approaches to this masterpiece from the perspective of Ecological Aesthetics, exploring its meaningfulness of Ecological Aesthetics, which aims to enrich the theory of Ecological Aesthetics,provide some reference for dressing psychological bewilderment of modern people and constructing spiritual civilization, on the other hand, this paper observes modern society from the past, facilitates this work’s modern transference and endeavors to add some modern value to it.This paper is divided into five parts. The first chapter introduces background of Ecological Aesthetics’ coming into being and fruit of this research in this domain and relevance between this masterpiece and Ecological Aesthetics. The second section discusses ecological holism that displaced by the worldview expressed in this masterpiece with “Tao” as its basis and its philosophy of life,such as "serenity”, “idleness” and “plainness”. The third section discusses the natural outlook of this masterpiece, explores its description of natural beauty and discovery of natural value and allegation of aesthetic developing mechanism with “nature” being the ideal. The fourth part explores living conditions of some characters with ideals in this work, then discusses the possibility of “poetic inhibition”. The fifth part is the conclusion.
