Research On Phonetics Of Yongshou Dialects

Yongshou County, which is known as "the throat of Qin Long and the key of Bin county and the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region" in Shanxi province is located in the Central West and Guanzhong plain. From the geographical location, Yongshou County is located in the transition zone of the traffic, just east and west of Guanzhong area. It is precisely because of its special geographical location, the dialect research is particularly important, especially it has a very important significance in Guanzhong area and northwest area.Through the comprehensive field investigation and sorting out some materials, the dialect of Yongshou is studied from synchronic and diachronic two aspects of phonetic system. In synchronic, the thesis records and describes the consonant system, the vowel system and the tone system of Yongshou dialect by the contemporany linguistic theory, then sorts out the consonant、vowel、tone table and a series of relevant phonetic system table of Yongshou dialects.At the same time,this paper sums up the phonetic characteristics of Yongshou dialects. In addition, this paper discusses some phenomenon of sound change about Yongshou dialects.In diachronic, taking "Qieyun" of the middle period as the object, this paper compares the consonants, vowels and tones of Yongshou dialects with the medieval initials, finals and tones. According to the middle four lines,this paper sorts out consonant comparison table between the Yongshou dialects and the middle period’s. According to the middle sixteen, the paper sorts out the vowel comparison table between dialects of Yongshou and the middle period. According to the comparison between the tone of the middle period and Yongshou,the paper sorts out the tones of Yongshou dialect and the middle period tone comparison table. These tables present the diachronic evolvement about the phonetics of Yongshou dialects.The paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction. This part mainly introduces the research status of Yongshou ‘s situation, history, population and language.The second part is the detailed description and analysis of Yongshou dialect initials, finals and tones, and sort out the initial consonants in Yongshou dialect, Yongshou dialect vowel table table, the tones of Yongshou dialect, Yongshou dialect phonetic table with the table.The third part is the syllabary of Yongshou dialect, which is not only a comprehensive collection of commonly used words, but also a lot of characters in Yongshou dialect.The forth part is the Yongshou dialect phonetic change. This part mainly analysis the tone sandhi in Yongshou dialect, tone and a series of phenomenon of sound change.The fifth part of the Yongshou dialect initial consonant, vowel and tone, and ancient Chinese were compared, analyzed and summarized the Yongshou dialect initials, finals and tones characteristics. Finally, this paper also compares the Guanzhong Dialect and Bai Dizhou’s Guanzhong Dialect Survey Report, analyzes the changes of Yongshou dialect in this 80 years.Through the study, the author hopes to show the detailed information of Yongshou dialect to everyone. Furthermore, hopes that this research can provide some basis for later researchers to further investigation in this region, such as vocabulary and grammar, and also provide the basic materials for Guanzhong Dialect research.
